I would say, "The Da Vinci Code helped pop tourism. I visited Paris last year and specifically visited St. Sulpice, because the film.

Some popular sites (Louvre, Westminster Abbey, etc..) They had a strong attraction and cultural history before the movie or a book. Whatever is acquired by the attraction of the DaVinci Code for these locations on an existing following (Does this make sense?)

I believe that the film helped Bood and cultural tourism and pop. It seems that only the Catholic Faith damaged.
