Older Rear projection TV with RGB HD input. Can I still connect an HDMI DVD player possible with a converter? - projection dvd player
Can a new blue laser beam on a rear projection TV that has the old 15-pin RGB input DVD? Pioneer TV SD-643HD5. I love television, but you do not want to use to buy a new TV to the new Blue Ray. Now you have connected the component video. It seems really good. I will see a dramatic difference from component to HDMI?

HDMI is a pure digital connection. RGB analog component - you need a scan converter. Use your A / V receiver, so you get 5.1 surround sound - Make sure HDMI and component switching up-down-conversion /.
Short answer - you can not convert HDMI to RGB.
