Before you seriously consider this vehicle, you should be up to $ 100 or less to spend and have a licensed mechanic check it out head-to-back.

Likely to have:

Tires
Hoses
Belts
Compression
Leaks
Brakes

Among others.

Although the mileage is really quite low, it remains a car for 40 years and must be treated as such. Since admit, without going much about classic cars and their maintenance, I feel comfortable taking refuge with a relative, a mechanic or someone to become friends. However, there is no better way than to learn more vehicles themselves. The 289 is a simple machine to work, and is a rewarding experience for you.

Good luck!
