I wonder if I have a scooter 50 cc or below and use the engine of the bike path or sidewalk) (street, without buying 16. Also, I live in Texas.

They are not here ... Access to the phone and call your local DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) because Roller is a vehicle and therefore the responsibility of the police, etc.

I know that is not legally in our state (NH) minors (under 16) can drive a car with a scooter, ATV, snowmobile, etc. from their private property does not matter if it is not in the forest, should not their land without to leave the consent of the landowner, and a legal adult with them. Of course, everybody knows, but when accidents or complaints from parents in order to obtain a ticket and the snowmobile or ATV can be recovered!
So ask before you buy!
For driving a vehicle of any kind ... is a privilege and not a "right". It is therefore no "guarantees" the right to do so!
You can ride any size cc off road, unless they are tresspassing on private property
